The KAUST Environmental Epigenetics Program (KEEP) is seeking highly competitive candidates, willing to pursue highly innovative, fundamental-question and cutting–edge technology oriented research projects to advance the field of Epigenetics and current knowledge of mechanisms of gene regulation and in particular the epigenetic mechanisms that control the ability of cells, somatic tissues and populations to acquire, remember, adapt and transmit their biological experience as consequence of the interaction with the environment. Research programs purely question-oriented to be performed in mammalian or any model or non-model organisms.
- The interplay between Cell Metabolism and Chromatin regulation
- Biochemistry and Structural Biology of RNA-Protein interactions
- Functional of Role of Noncoding Genome (ncRNA, Transposable Elements)
- Neuroepigenetics and Behaviour
The Epigenetics Research Program is part of KAUST Bioscience Division “BIO-NEST Program”, gathering focal areas of basic and applied research in Neuroscience, Epigenetics, Stem Cells and Technology.
